UA Multimedia Appoints New CEO and Announces Corporate Updates

IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/25/16 -- UA Multimedia, Inc. (OTC: UAMM), a media holding company today announces the appointment of Dan Tran as the New CEO and updates its shareholders with its new business direction.

Going forward the Company will primarily focus on media production, distribution, investment, advertising and media related services. The Company will produce its own titles as well as acquire rights to other titles for distribution to certain specific regions.

Mr. Tran will replace Sully Jacques as the new CEO effective immediately. Dan Tran graduated from UCLA with a BS in Engineering. Mr. Tran was a Board of Director for the Vietnamese International Film Festival in 2011. He produced the box-office sensation horror film House in the Alley in Vietnam in 2012. In 2013 he produced the film Gentle based on a story by Dostoyevski which debuted at the Busan International Film Festival 2014 and released theatrically in Vietnam in 2015. Recently he is the Executive Producer for the action drama The Rich Woman (aka Nu Dai Gia), currently releasing in Vietnam.

In conjunction with the CEO appointment, the Company also executed an agreement with the producing company Cong Ty TNHH MTV Phim Tiger in Vietnam for all rights to the movie The Rich Woman (Nu Dai Gia). Phim Tiger is currently partnering with CJ Entertainment to distribute the movie to the theaters throughout Viet Nam.

Currently Vietnam is one of the fastest growing cinema markets in the world. The Rich Woman is an action drama, directly by Le-Van Kiet and starring Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen who is one of the most recognizable Vietnamese entertainment faces world-wide, is being released theatrically in Vietnam starting on May 20, 2016, in all cinema complexes around the country. The film premiered in Ho Chi Minh on May 17 and in the capital Hanoi on May 19. Many of in the Vietnamese entertainment industry worldwide came to Vietnam to support the release.
