When we become born-again and surrender our life to God we are suppose to start a process of becoming more and more like Jesus. We are filled with the Holy Spirit of God to guide and direct us and for the rest of our lives on earth its no longer about us, its ALL about Jesus and others and obeying Gods will for our lives. The thing is, becoming born-again and living by Gods word dont mean our life gets easier. In fact, its probably going to get harder in at least some areas. A believer can expect satan to work overtime on them. Just trying to avoid the daily temptations of the world is a full time job. And Lord knows our own flesh...our wondering heart, mind and eyes can get us into enough trouble! However...heres the thing. God will NEVER let any temptation overcome us that we cant handle. We might come close to throwing in the towel and giving satan ...the world...and our flesh their way at times but through faith and trust we can truly always defeat satan and his temptations. When temptation and satan and our own earthly human weakness is staring us in the face...Stop right then and there and cry out to Jesus! Remember Jesus defeated satan at the cross and if we will allow Him...He will defeat satan in our daily lives!
