Hi Allen, my advice, for what it's worth, is to buy a few low cost core index ETFs. Many brokers now offer commission free index ETFs. The problem is we're probably sitting now near a market high so if it was me I'd either wait or make a small buy in each ETF say 1/4 of the final position if I wanted to hedge my bets.
