I don't see how the case they patented makes any sense whatsoever!
What advantage does incorporating the antenna(s) into the case itself offer? This is the design that they have patented.
Existing lenses use a low cost, pretty much disposable case.
Of the various ways to communicate and charge the lenses, it makes far more sense to me to design antenna(s) into a clamshell case that a standard "disposable" case goes inside of or just a pad containing an antenna that a standard case just sits on. Both of these versions would not infringe on EPGL's patent!
I see multiple competitive disadvantages in the approach that they have patented... what am I missing?
Anyone technical want to discuss this intelligently?
