It's unfortunate that we live in a world where we have to look at our fellow man with a healthy amount of distrust, but that's just the way things are. Due to the factor of the unknown, we have to consider the possibilities. So of course, if he is honest, I mean no insults. That said, since I do not know the man, it is possible that those claims are pump-n-dump, but I hope not. Surely innocent until proven guilty, especially since it may very well be a gift on a silver platter.

And yes, I believe it could classify as insider trading to divulge such information, but I'm not sure what the legal standing is on phone calls that go along the lines of "I can't say specifics, but there's a lot of good stuff." Also, no recordings would make it hard to prove. But it is possible that, being a human being, he could make the mistake of speaking where he shouldn't. That said, for US on this forum, it's all hearsay; so if we were to act upon it, it would not count as insider trading, since for all we know it could have been a fabrication from a crazy guy on the Internet, and we just happened to unrelatedly decide to buy more shares. Again: no offense.
