We need major national coverage of what happened here. Like a spot on 60 Minutes to show how corrupt the DTCC and FINRA are, but I've already tried them. The next thing I noticed after sending them a folder on this situation was my brokerage becoming their main advertiser. Then I realized 60 Minutes wouldn't ever seek the truth. Those advertising dollars were more important. Haven't watched them since.
With the internet and public shaming of govt agencies being so popular, esp with agencies like Wikileaks, you'd think we could get some press somewhere?
Ive sent other packets to other news agencies, they never responded.
Also back about 10 years ago, sent packets to all my elected federal reps. 2 sent it off to the SEC and another, the third, said the problem with naked shorting had been taken care of and proceeded no further with our specific situation.
Also spoke with a state agency that deals with securities fraud. They contacted the SEC who asked them to package up my packet and send it to them. The state washed their hands of the situation and the SEC never did anything with it.
We should at least be able to get our money back but that's not possible either. We the shareholders are not the culprits but we're the ones paying the price. That is so wrong. And nobody in any authority cares.
