I am repeatedly amazed watching the market makers work. There are frequent examples where there are Mexican standoffish between a narrow range of bid and ask with each position showing in excess of 10,000 shares available.

Suddenly a trade comes through in a lot of 100 shares or less and the stock drops 0.015-0.02.

Over and over again.

Lather rinse repeat.
