Actually Spanky, Kenaf makes good bedding material

Horse lovers buy it, it is more expensive (relative) to alternatives.

Your observation about it being processed by HEMP in Spring Hope? No, its not economical or NECESSARY.

Getting back to the fundamentals of hemp--not kenaf, the MONEY crop is the long (bast) fibers.

Relative to the whole plant bast is 80% of the value.

Here is the catch. Its fragile. The long fibers tend to break with excessive handling.

Which is why on site portable decorticators are the preferred method.

Retting is an important step, and its not "time' uniform, that is its a variable with temperature and weather (rain, dew) so really a farmer to catch it just right needs to order in the equipment to process, and THEN ship it out, not the other way around as HEMP inc thinks it gets done.

You have to remember Spanky, these guys at HEMP really don't know, they plant stuff without thinking, say things which aren't true, make claims that are unattainable,....AND

NOTHING WORKS--SELLS--OR EVER HAPPENS.

Facts, just the FACTS!~
