MJ Freeway -- Fastest Growing Company in US

http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/second-year-running-denver-based-mj-freeway-joins-the-ranks-of-incs-fastest-growing-companies-in-the-united-states-300315355.html

"For the second year running, MJ Freeway rounds out the list of the fastest growing companies in the United States, according to Inc. Magazine. MJ Freeway joins the ranks of Square, Dollar Shave Club, and ipsy. MJ Freeway is the only software company for cannabis to make the list"

MJ is actually founded by two women, I learned. So, almost a century in the War on Drugs, and it all it took were some educated women to put the Cartels and Mafia out of business. Lucky for Lucky Luciano that he was born when he was born.

I learned somewhere that MJ was getting close to $2.5 million in revenue at the end of 2015 and were close to profitability. They got $8 M in a Series B, so surely we are worth $2M Their investors are involved in their strategic planning, so they surely know about Helix. Maybe they'd like to throw a few million this way too? I did a quick profile on their personalities, and they are going to click well with Jennifer. Being Denver based, I'm sure they were already well known to each other.

It looks like MJ has plans to go public in the future if I understand this correctly:

It's the only filing that exists with the SEC. I wonder if they plan an IPO or a reverse merger similar to what Helix did. Helix did it in a way I like, which I've never seen before. Helix went public yet didn't.

Aw, yes, here it is:

This is where I found the $2.5 million in revenue. It was hard to find. MJ is very tight lipped about what they are pulling in -- "$2.5 million in revenue and a three-year growth rate of 205%." There was another source somewhere, stating they were "close" and on track to profitability in 2016.

Oh, look at this (I'm googling as I write):

"MJ Freeway is a private company whose stock is not publicly traded at the present time". I'll take "at this time" to solidify my suspicion, that they do indeed have plans to go public.

The growth of MJ can only be good for Helix. Helix is apparently the fastest growing security company in Colorado. Maybe MJ can pull us along even faster on their fast track to success? Ride on their coattails some. It works good for me!

I want to keep a close eye on MJ.

BioTrack, btw, just mentioned this week that they forecast California is going to far exceed Colorado in its Cannabis sales potential by leaps and bounds. I wonder if Helix is a franchisable concept. Cannabase would be a good perk for a franchisee since that would be drawbridge to cross our moat. IFF it is, and IFF it went that route, it should be only done with a well capitalized partner and a guaranteed territory we couldn't necessarily reach in a speedy manner. Such as California...

But I wouldn't emphasize that model. Only consider it if they come to you. Don't hire a salesforce for that or build infrastructure to franchise. Disaster! Always spells disaster. They can come to us and be icing on the cake. Never be at the mercy of the sale of a franchise. Even John Martin, the franchise king of Taco Bell, had to learn that the hard way.
