Here is the sucky part..

and from the doc: Prosecution procedure : Substantive examination (2-5 years)

I am no legal bloodhound by any means. The closest I have ever come to the law is when I broke it. But the term 'Substantive examination (2-5 years)' means to me that I don't think we will be granted a patent this August. Looks more to me like China pushed us to the back shelf for a while.
