Autonomous Automobiles are coming and nothing is going to stop their arrival. Every Automobile manufacturer WILL HAVE to produce them or they will go out of business. Ford's announcement is not daring, it is simply an acknowledgement of the fact that this is coming. This is the future of the Automobile world. Yes, the first ones to offer this capability will be rewarded, but I can see a day in the Not so distant future when this will be mandatory in order to sell vehicles. Sort of like mandatory seatbelts, or the mandatory upper brake light on the back end of cars, only this is a much more important innovation. It's coming!
