PrimeCap has added 600,000 shares to their position since this mock interview I'm responding to:

http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/bbry/institutional-holdings

This is the data I wanted to see.

The top 5 all added significantly to their positions, with the exception of Prem Watsa at Fairfax. But he didn't sell, and he leaves no doubt as to where he stands in sentiment which is bullish. For those who don't know, he is also on the Board of Directors for BBRY.

I also wanted to see it compared to the data I saved in my post "note to self." Ontario Teachers Pension Fund shows indecisiveness on the surface. But who knows what the true reasons are. The quarter prior to the one posted above, they sold 30,000 shares, reducing their percentage by a small percentage. But last quarter, they increased their position by 1.4 million shares, a significant increase. What changed their mind?

That was enough to knock Connor Clark out from #5 position and knocked them down to #6.

FMR shows the same contradictory behavior. Maybe they liked the huge right downs and saw that as a fresh start? Usually, companies like to wash out all the bad news like that and just get it all out of their system in one huge bad quarter.

I see more clearly what Chen sees, and I understand the question in the conference call better when he was asked, "what are you seeing that we don't see." Chen just couldn't out on the public record to say he is going to rebrand the phone on an Icatel 4. It's not good branding.

I just always had a great feeling about this one. This is going to be a great performer over the years as I see it. I can't wait for September's 10Q release and conference call. We had had an analyst upgrade. My take on behavioral finance, and we should see more and more of those. And each time, the market will be caught off guard and surprised, with each and every upgrade. Until such time as the "wall of optimism" is established, and then that journey will be about beating lofty expectations.
