It's easy to speculate. But it's very exciting to me in any event, that they now have more expertise on board for pursuing therapeutic tissue replacement.
I agree, and would think they would do liver tissue 1st, as they have the most experience with that tissue. I think it would lend itself to a partial patch, as you say, versus an entire organ replacement. At least at first.
If it's kidney tissue, that could cause the ONVO stocks to be explosive due to the prevalence of diabetes sufferers.
But in any case, the vasculature and structural components for any other more complicated organ type will be a challenge. I think they have a long way to go for heart muscle tissue. Very complicated structure.
