Louisiana crop loss 20% from their MAJOR flood. Some of the 80% won't mill as good. I doubt RBT is getting all of the available rice in the area, so more is available, Former exec Olga Longen said that Lake Charles milled rice could go to Mermentau to be stabilized. We'll see how their procurement VP does here.


And rice is cheaper now than a month ago, so the markets don't see a big deal in spite of 27 " of rain.
