Yankees Drop Game to Blue Jays and Lose Pitcher Nathan Eovaldi
By SETH BERKMAN
Nathan Eovaldi, who is 9-8 with a 4.76 E.R.A. for the Yankees this year, ended last season on the disabled list and will not pitch next season.
The Yankees fell to Toronto and learned that Eovaldi has two torn ligaments in his pitching elbow that will require separate procedures, keeping him out next season and jeopardizing his career.
