Pannos Geanneotis, the owner of the Keystone Mine, has changed his company name from Placer Mining Corp. to Grand Canyon Gold Corp. Their properties include several iron ore placer mines.....and of course, the Keystone Mine. http://placerminingcorp.com/

And, they're in filming for a new reality mining show, based in Mexico:

Grand Canyon Gold Corp

President and CEO, Panos Gianneotis and his crew to participate in a new series "Border Gold."

Border Gold™ a New Potential Reality/Docu Series to Threaten Mining Shows

Mining in the Southwest is down and dirty!Online PR News – 27-February-2015 – February 27, 2015 Los Angeles – Consecration Media is in post-production on Border Gold™ a new sizzle and potential pilot. Border Gold™ takes the mining genre to an all-new level by focusing on junior miners and explorers who straddle the U.S. and Mexico border.

The show will focus on the realities of mining in the extreme southwest -- especially south of the border,” says Alizabeth James, Creator and Producer of Border Gold™. Consequently, Alizabeth had been named the “Queen of Miners” by Victor Vizcarra, the Minister of Mining in Sonora, Mexico for assisting Victor in procuring interest from American miners to Joint Venture with Mexican miners who lack funds or the know-how to get their mines into production.

The Mexican government owns the mineral rights and the landowners own the land. If the landowner takes a 10% royalty from the off-take, foreign miners could possibly make a profit in Mexico, as the ground is rich in minerals. There are enormous gold mining operations currently in production in Mexico, but the smaller mining entities may be exposed to a myriad of potential threats.

Border Gold™ will feature real miners who must convince investors that mining in Mexico will be a profitable endeavor. However, they are skittish about venturing into Mexico due to various “red flag” U.S. Government warnings, such as: the threat of ISIS infiltrating Mexico, kidnappings, the ubiquitous Mexican Cartel; and the Russian Mafia with its’ “black market” mentality – they now has a foothold in Mexico.

A barrage of “bad luck” confronts the Arizona miners; such as equipment breakdown, torrential flooding from monsoon rains, exposure to Valley Fever, 110-130 degree excruciating heat, and violent furnace like winds. The lack of funds and the extreme health risks are constant obstacles as well.

“The goal is sell to Latin American territories first such as Telemundo and or Univision etc., as we have been encouraged to produce Border Gold™ in Mexico by local and state politicians who would like to see this show airing in their country. As far as safety, we were provided with armed security during filming by the Mayor of the city of Carbo,” says Alizabeth.

Border Gold™ will the take the lead in the mining genre as society in large, especially the male demographics are intrigued with danger. No longer will the audience settle for spending 45 minutes sitting on the couch watching the snowmelt in Alaska when they could be watching miners battling extreme mining conditions in the southwest," says Alizabeth.

Border Gold™ takes you on a journey into the Wild West where Gold fever claims the lives of many desperate men seeking an alternative way to provide for their families; outlaws still appear to dominate and thrive in the badlands, but so do the good guys. Border Gold™ is like the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of mining.
