IMO, NAT is not overvalued now. Smart move to cut the dividend to use the savings to buy those six tankers

I expect NAT to be trading $13 to $13.50 before the end of the year.

And the 8% yield makes the total return even better.

In one to three years, the dividend will be going up again and the stock will be trading over $16 based on the higher dividend.
