So if this Irving guy IS "honest" and the deal fell thru but he doesn't have enough "guts" to post this on the TGGI kindergarten-ish website, what does he do ?

Does he just "shrug his shoulders" and say "Tee-Hee...Tee-Hee...Hey, I tried but couldn't pull it off" and then he just bags everyone's money and rides off into the sunset?

Or does he have a "conscience" about honestly or dis-honesty screwing everyone out of their money?
