We don't know about the investigation, or if Jake is a target of it. The SEC doesn't typically tip their hand until civil or other entity criminal charges are levied.
We do know that the former CEO of Moon River Studios (MDNT), Manu, was deposed by the SEC prior to the suspension from trading.

Could he have revealed something or that Jake was really running the company, its destruction of shareholder value, and cash for shares deals. After all, he was executive financial officer prior to making himself CEO.
Apparently Jake decided to pull the same thing at FONU, but with a different CEO.
