GILLA LAUNCHES NEW E-LIQUID BRANDS FOR THE U.S. MARKET

New York, NY – (August 3, 2016) – Gilla Inc. (“Gilla” or the “Company”) (OTCQB: GLLA), the fast-growing designer, manufacturer and marketer of E-liquid for vaporizers, today announced the launch of three new E-liquid brands developed for the United States market and the introduction of new flavors within Gilla’s existing brands. The launch comes in advance of the final Deeming Regulations imposed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) which go into effect on August 8, 2016 restricting the introduction of new E-liquid products in the United States without prior approval of the FDA.

Gilla is pleased to introduce two new flavors to the award winning Coil Glaze family in the U.S.: Berry Bluez, described as a warm blueberry pastry with a dollop of whipped cream and a light dusting of powdered sugar; and Them Applez, described as a freshly baked cobbler crust with gooey apple cinnamon filling, finished with a swirl of whipped cream. In addition, the Company is set to launch three new E-liquid brands into the U.S. market which are as follows:

The Drip Factory – a three flavor, industrial factory-inspired brand;

Surf Sauce – a tropical-inspired trio of vaper’s paradise; and

Siren – a nautical-inspired duo of citrus flavors.

The Gilla portfolio of E-liquid brands has been meticulously developed to cater to unique consumer opportunities and an array of customer preferences. The new brands will be launched in trend-setting packaging utilizing bundled 30ml bottles available in 0mg, 3mg and 6mg nicotine strengths.
