I love the new phone! I think they are going to the carriers, but Enterprise is their target. The regular customers are just gravy. They have some resistance at the store level with sales people steering people away from the Blackberry as mentioned in the last conference call.

They had their own first store open in New York, or was it Chicago, last month. Yes, they did hire some big-shot marketing guys 2 months ago and did some personnel shuffling.

Right now, it's just about stabilizing the hardware (mobility) segment. SAF will continue to fall. I just want stabilization and prefer them not to exit and be able to offer the full executive suite. Sprint can come back later and a larger push through carriers on what I call "scaling the wall of optimism." This is scaling the wall of pessimism, where the hurdles are at their lowest and easiest to clear. At this point it's about outsourcing and just focusing on getting the hardware profitable. Gotta plan for each quarter beating the prior quarter, and these things can be rolled out strategically.

This is coming at the end of the quarter, and India and some other countries won't even have this phone available until next month. So, every quarter offers a big opportunity for increasing sales, including bringing Sprint back into the fold at a future date. And educating sales people, and changing attitudes, and bringing sexy back to the brand.

Love this stock! It has not exceeded my expctations but certainly has met them in the last 7 or 8 months since I've owned the stock. Which isn't long at all.
