I'm not following.
This chart puts XIV up against VIXY and the Wilshire 5000.
And neither tracks the overall market represented by Wilshire 5000.
I'm not sure which is short or long.
VIXY is described as 'Short Term' VIX futures and is not leveraged (1.00).
I'm not able to see how XIV is described.
