IMHO California' new law that allows for profit also allows for "not for profit" as well.....and was written in a way to allow local communities to decide what they want. Blum's attempt to enter the communities of Berkeley and San Leandro are to excellent examples of communities wanting to remain not for profit as it forces the "profit" back into their communites which makes sense....
