so a trading halt may not be in the cards in the case of a continuation



The PR in the case of continuation could be distilled down to, "For the next year, we will continue on day to day as we have for the past year or so as we have recently and repeatedly said." The PR will announce no change in operations and outlook as per company communications. Halting trading looks pretty optional.
