I don't think that it would be
wise to sell the water, leasing is the way to go. Right now, IMO, there is probably adequate water available for the number of growers. I think once MJ is rescheduled by the feds, you will see a flurry of new entrants into the industry. Water will be the critical factor. As a water rights owner in Idaho, I can tell you that even in a state with plentiful water, at this time, the value of the water continues to go up. Colorado water will be highly sought after when the feds relinquish MJ control to the states.
