Because, this is AMRN and these things happen to us longs. I fully expect the stock to drop if no stop at interim and then recover. I think that's why there is still such a large short position. Traders are counting on a continuation with a dip at interim. Of course, I want overwhelming efficacy for all end points at interim with a stop but we have been consistently told they don't believe that to be the case so we will see.
