Matthew M. Peakes was appointed Chief Executive Officer and elected to the Board in September 2015. Mr. Peakes was chosen because of his experience in the precious metals and diamond industries, background in implementing operational improvements, and financial expertise. Prior to joining DGSE Companies, Inc., Mr. Peakes held the roles of Director of Business Development for Elemetal, LLC (2012-2015) and Vice President for J.P. Morgan (2007-2012). Mr. Peakes holds both a M.B.A and B.B.A from Southern Methodist University.
