So... you would "argue" what? That QMC/ND should have characterized theirs as a commercial agreement because they got paid? Okay, that's fine, I don't have a problem with that. But it's a little different direction from your seemingly derisive, "Apparently, in England, product development agreements are called commercial agreements... LOL!"
Also, aren't you making my point about the unknown? We don't know what the length of these QMC deals are, what the metrics or deliverables are, or whether additional payments were spelled out in them specifically. What we know, in QMC's words, is that one was a "joint development agreement" and the other a "funded product development agreement." Based on watching this for years, my guess is that QMC chose their words carefully.
