Having a goal of a WC is not enough for me. Why can't the Mets win the division ??? If you think they are good enough for a WC why not support you team all the way ?? I don't get that.
I support my team as I watch every game, but I am a fan even with my team that prides myself on using my brain to evaluate my team's chances and not my heart. The chances of the mets catching the nats is waaaaaaaaaaay less then 50% They have a puncher's chance, but not a good chance. The wc race however is a good shot, I don't love the marlins rotaiton, the dodgers who have been hot without kershaw I have my doubts they can continue, the pirates don't have good pitching and the cardinals cannot get going for some reason this season in my opinion, and are without their best player in carpenter. I think there is a decent chance the mets can make the WC sure would I prefer the division, absolutely, but I think about my team getting in, once your in you got a shot, and right now they have a much greater chance of getting in via the wc in my opinion.
Your team too as much as I love the astros, and I made a comment about the rangers not making the playoffs, the Red Sox, Blue Jays, and baltimore are gonna beat up each other I could easily be proven wrong and one of them fall out of it, and texas makes the playoffs as a wc, because I don't trust the baltimore pitching in the least.
