The following is a post (13740) from the yellow shaded area that was recently deleted. I spent 6 hours in research to compile that information for the benefit of everyone on this board.

It would be nice if one of the moderators can re post (13740) to that area of the message board for the benefit of newcomers.....Thank you

I believe we have a number of new investors on this board from all over the globe. In case they want to come up to speed with the history of this mineral reserve, I have prepared the following:

Here is a news article from last year about the site of the mine, the local community and the material in the ground.

http://journalstar.com/news/state-and-regional/nebraska/area-residents-dig-the-prospect-of-niobium-mine/article_bfe14646-b161-5295-8b4d-f382beabb7db.html

In Wikipedia, there is a reference to the mineral deposits about half way down the page which describes the location of the proposed mine which is in Elk Creek, Nebraska:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elk_Creek,_Nebraska

Please note that this mineral reserve site has been explored since the 1970's by both the State of Nebraska as well as MolyCorp which was acquired by Chevron and then spun off. More information about the history below:

http://quantumrareearth.com/index.php/component/content/article?id=45:quantum-acquires-large-niobium-rare-earth-carbonatite-complex-in-nebraska.html

Prior to being named NioCorp, the company was called Quantum Rare Earths Developments Corp. In 2010, Quantam acquired 4 square miles in Elk Creek. Here is a great article from 2011 about Quantum:

The following is an extensive thesis put out by a graduate student in 2014 at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (which is geographically close to the mine site) about this reserve. Very interesting read for all you geologist enthusiasts:

The following is an article way back from January, 2014 just before I starting investing. A lot has changed since then, but,if you read it carefully, it's kind of prophetic. Back then, the market cap was just $17,000,000. Today, some 22 months later, the market cap is $102,729,792.

If you read the article carefully, you will understand why the CEO is passionate about this opportunity. He formerly worked for another company that owned and sold the reserve and also worked intimately with CBMM in Brazil, which is the world's largest producer of niobium. He is more than qualified to be leading this mining project:

We are nearing the end of a years long journey to get to the point where NioCorp can produce a feasibility study which can attract large scale investment to build the mine.

It is important to understand the history of these mineral deposits, the mine site and the contributions of all the companies, government institutions and scholarly contributions involved in exploring this reserve since the 1970's (45 years).

Waiting 3-4 months until a feasibility study is produced is just a flash in time compared to all that has been achieved thus far to get to this point.
