The new series is also debuting a VR component, allowing fans to watch episodes with Stan Lee in his home.

The Cosmic Crusaders are battling on — but they're still not quite superheroes.

The third episode of Stan Lee's Cosmic Crusaders is here, and once again, the team has a little trouble dealing with even the simplest of tasks. In the episode, called "Crunchy and Squishy," Roller Man derails a mission by deciding to eat something no hero should eat.

In addition to episode 3's premiere, Thursday also sees a special virtual reality component to the series debuting, which allows fans to watch the series with Stan Lee in his home by downloading the Hindsight VR app. (More on that here.)

The episode is the third of four installments debuting daily through Friday at thr.com/cosmic. The series is produced by Lee's POW! Entertainment, in partnership with The Hollywood Reporter and global brand management company Genius Brands International. It comes as THR is launching its Comic-Con issue, which includes THR's special salute, "Stan Lee: 75 Years in the Business."
