"BTW, I saw elsewhere what I thought I remembered, that Boniuk and Seymour know each other from Baylor, where Boniuk was #1 in her class and doing "cutting edge research." "

Maybe you're referring to a different "elsewhere", because the one that I found doesn't mention Baylor (I don't think she even went to school there, so it seems unlikely that she finished #1 in her class there) and there is no "cutting edge research" quote unless you have a different understanding of what quotation marks mean than I.
Let's get the information from the "elsewhere" that I know about on the record:

I have no idea why the price went up (apparently it was up 15¢ at one time during the trading day. Volume was pretty amazing)

I’m working on my CEO letter that should address some of the issues you asked about

I’ve been traveling so much that it’s been hard to get some uninterrupted time to write

That will be a public document and we’ll place it on the website

PS I first met Dr. Vivien Boniuk many years ago when we were both medical students doing summer research fellowships; she in ophthalmology and me in virology. She was #1 in her medical school class and was doing some very sophisticated work.

This article and other sources say that she got her medical degree in Nova Scotia and was a resident at Baylor University Hospital (maybe they met in the
hall?).

Did Dr B and Dr S both do a summer research fellowship at Baylor while she went to Med school in Canada where she was #1 in her class? Is that what happened?

It's ironic to me that a set of statements could start like this...
"I could be wrong about these things (nobody's perfect), but it's always best to go to the source and those with direct experience in things being discussed if you want to get to the truth."
and end like this....
"We've heard quite a few false things claimed here in the unending effort to paint NNVC in a negative light."

....especially given the issues raised by this:
"BTW, I saw elsewhere what I thought I remembered, that Boniuk and Seymour know each other from Baylor, where Boniuk was #1 in her class and doing "cutting edge research."

Perhaps my future posts should begin with "I could be wrong about these things (nobody's perfect)" and toss in a phrase like "what I thought I remembered"...then maybe I could say pretty much whatever I want.
