It's not at all unlikely that the Japanese JV will be marketing their version of the CareBot first. Components would then be exported back to the U.S. for integration into a U.S. version. Spencer has always planned to manufacture in the U.S. to create American jobs so I would expect that to continue.

Japanese version must be smaller and enculturated with Japanese customs and expectations. U.S. version will be larger and perhaps move more aggressively - I believe that can be customized to the individual, also vocal tone.

There is a need for this product and the wheelchair too. At this time GeckoSystems is the only one who can provide safe in home navigation. The need in Japan is more pressing, so it's a good startup market.
