ZYNGA STOCK: WILL IT RACE TO THE TOP?

Zynga has had a rough time in the market as of late, and for good reason. The games the company created that got investors excited in the first place have lost their luster. Consumers just aren’t playing them anymore. However, THE COMPANY ANNOUNCED THE LAUNCH OF A NEW GAME, AND THAT IS FUELING INVESTOR EXCITEMENT. TODAY, WE’LL TALK ABOUT THE NEW GAME, how investors are reacting to the news, and whether or not it has the potential to send ZNGA racing to the top. SO, LET’S GET RIGHT TO IT…

ZNGA CLIMBS ON CSR RACING 2

On June 30th, Zynga made a huge move. The company released a game that was met with quite a bit of anticipation. That game is called CSR Racing 2. The game, designed for both iOS and Android is a racing game that follows up on the highly successful CSR franchise. Between CSR Racing and CSR Classics, the franchise has reached more than 190 million downloads.
The new CSR Racing 2 will include many of the same features as the original game. However, ZNGA spent tons of time and effort working with NaturalMotion to focus on graphics. This is something new from the company that is most known for low graphics games like FarmVille and Words With Friends. In fact, the new game features graphics that neither PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can compete with. In a statement, Torsten Reil, Natural Motion’s CEO had the following to offer…
“[The game is] using the full resolution of the iPad Pro, obviously much more than HD, much, much higher resolution, running at full 30 framerate… If you look at the reflections on the cars, we spent a huge amount of time trying to get those right. We have different shaders for every single part of the car… You want to feel what it’s like to race a car like this… But you also want to feel what it’s like to own a car. A lot of this is about car ownership, not just racing itself.”

HOW THE MARKET REACTED TO THE NEWS

In today’s trading session, the stock climbed $0.10 per share or 3.92% to close the day off at $2.65 per share.

MOVING FORWARD, I HAVE AN OVERWHELMINGLY BULLISH OPINION OF WHAT WE CAN EXPECT TO SEE FROM ZNGA.. THE REALITY IS THAT THE CSR RACING FRANCHISE IS AN INCREDIBLY POPULAR ONE.

THE NEW GAME WITHIN THE FRANCHISE IS AN INCREDIBLE IMPROVEMENT OVER OTHER GAMES RELEASED THROUGH THE FRANCHISE. With much better graphics, consumers are likely to enjoy the game more. As a result, I’m expecting to see MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF DOWNLOADS. In the end, this should lead TO STRONG REVENUE AND GREAT PROFITABILITY for Zynga. ALL IN ALL, THE STOCK IS LIKELY TO BENEFIT GREATLY FROM THE NEW GAME RELEASE AND I’M EXCITED FOR THE FUTURE.
