In addition to your post about fireworks, excel, we have an old horse, past his years of usefulness, that was scared nearly out of his mind last night while the drunken party at the neighbors' house set off skyrocket after skyrocket. Poor Cecil just stood and shook for nearly two hours. I believe in freedom, and I believe in celebrating the fourth of July, but just about reached my limit last night. Such fireworks as they were setting off last night are illegal in Pennsylvania. I was very close to calling the state police and asking for protection. Finally, around 10:00, it wound down to a close. I guess they ran out of stuff to set off. I have to live here, and do not want to have neighbors angry with me, but I will speak to this guy today when I hope he is sober.
