Announce that the well has been P&A'd and results are being evaluated. Put it on the website, if they want to save the expense of a formal press release. We all know by now that being P&A'd, while not the best news, does not close the door to good or even great news, as shown recently by Tullow. But how common is it for a technical non-discovery to be a "discovery"?... as discussed here:
