Thoughts On General Meeting

I appreciate it and thought it was very informative. It's good to know his industry-wide thoughts, like the fact he doesn't see devices as the future of any company. Hence, his cross platform strategy.

It was nice to hear him reference the 40,000 patents Blackberry owns. That seems to be followed up on the next day as he plans to license out this knowhow.

The Q&A seems too concerned with hardware, which is not the future of the company. It's going to become a smaller and smaller percentage going forward.

Chen tells like it is, like the store-level resistance at Verizon.

I think the court reporter is a little sloppy, especially since he/she identifies everyone as an "analyst." And that actually is in one of my fields of expertise to know about.

Overall, I loved the meeting. I love my quarterly updates. And that holds true with everything in my life. Everybody that knows me, knows I get mad if I don't get updates. Just tell me what's going on, why there is a delay, that you are fixing it, and I'm okay.
