I'm curious about your (and Stewguts) comments here. Maybe I'm just not smart enough to process the implications, but what does "this could get bloody" look like? If there is too much stock in the system, including IOUs wouldn't the whole thing be halted unless some of the liquidity is taken out and shot?

I can't think of a example from history where a short squeeze generated a never ending stock rise, as too much demand chases too little supply.
