Douggy can fix this in a heartbeat. He chosses not to. If you listen to the conference calls he has never, not even once, mentioned what they have in store for the future. He is too busy patting himself on the back and dwells on the past in each and every call. Same for the annual meetings it the same ole thing, "Look at what we did". Everyone knows what they did. What they want to know is what is coming in the future an how it will benifit them. Stop bragging about how we will continue the share buybacks that haven't done a single thing good since they started. You would think the PPS would increase with less shares but it hasn't helped one penny. Stop saying out loud the you will agrressively price match the Ultra Low Cost carriers. Their models are built to compensate for the low up front costs with tons of add ons. AAL isn't so it is really a drag on the company when they do it because there are no add ons to compensate. Again, he can fix it by toning down the negative and forecasting a positive. Hasn't happened yet though.
