Scotts lack of cooperation would have no effect. He already isnt doing anything to benifit the company.
The company would run better without his cooperation.
As for insider info he has access to... i am sure that he has access to the books. So he would know what they are doing at all times. He has access to the bank and can write himself a check for a vacation at any time.
If they decided to attempt to remove him or take away back pay ect. He would have access to ANYTHING.
Now maybe thats ok for you but i trust you more than scott. The company wont let you even know what shares insiders hold but they will let Scott have full access to everything?
Point is that anyone who has owned a business or even just been in a supervisory position knows you dont allow a thief to work for you even for 1 hour.
You know that there is nobody who is not replacable and you dont let people who have demonstrated the ability to hurt your company have access to your books.
Scott should be removed if they can remove him.
The fact that they havent says they either can not or do not want to.
