Petey uses his family as a means to get his foot in the door to steal from others. He has stolen large sums of money from his son's friends father at his elementary school. I'm sure he is currently using his daughters dance school to steal from people there. He portrays himself to be a family man but nothing could be further from the truth. It's a classic con tactic. Lure people in by whatever means you have to.

Petey has even play the "holy" card to steal from religious people. One of them is on this board.
