I don't need to put words in other people's mouths. All I need to do is quote them verbatim. "Now is the time to sell, sell, sell" and "Glassware eliminates the need for VMware" are two prime examples.

Re your other point. Yes, after 30 years in the IT industry I have a decent Rolodex. With only six degrees of separation, it's not too hard to confirm a claim. I'm confident that Peter Bookman will confirm that :)

One of the things I have learned is that most people in this industry will share info if approached with honesty and integrity. Especially when third parties make claims about their company that are false, misleading and potentially detrimental to their interest.

I do not claim to be an expert on either technology or finance. But I know enough to ask the right people the right questions, and not simply believe the ridiculous musings of a stock promotion newsletter. As an investor or trader, you have every right to risk your money and present your opinions.
