Pull up a 20 year chart of VTSI with candlestick display and you can see that VTSI gaped down from $2 to $1.25 back in 1998. Some chart technicians look for those gaps to be "filled," or have the share price go back up (or down if the price gaps up) to fill the space between the gap at some point in the future. It was partially filled with a rise in share price to 1.50 in 2000 but it didn't fill the whole gap up to $2.00. I guess 16-20 years later is in the future.
