So sorry to read this "cork". Wish you the very best.
I am a follicular non-hodgkins lymphoma survivor/battler. Grade 1-2 stage 4.
R-chop was 6 treatments 3 weeks apart. First time was 11 1/2 hour IV.
After that average was 7 hours for the next 5 treatments. Happened to time out so one treatment on my birthday and one on christmas eve. LOL
If I can help or listen, since you are a paying member here, PM me your e-mail.
It sucks big time. I am still glad I did it even with a few permanent side effects. I would have been dead 9 years ago. We are all different, just be you.
Cold watermelon all day everyday was helpful to me and others for controlling/keeping free of mouth sores. MD Anderson now has it as part of their regimen. Many tricks. Not all work for everyone so try or try something else is often the case.
One last comment and I will shut up and give you space. Don't be a hero and fight nasuea if it is a problem. Get on top and stay on top if possible cause once it gets away from you it can be hard to control. One of my mistakes was waiting almost too long instead of proactive.
Prilosec otc and Braeburn apples ended up helping me not have to go to the heavy meds. I can explain more if desired.
Sorry if sounds too strong a come on. So Sorry you are "C" group member.
Hope this doesn't seem too cryptic and unfeeling.
Prayers for you and your family.
