I wish the SEC would keep rules that allow for a company to enter into the publicly traded world to raise money that will allow them to innovate and grow, but put strong rules in place that forever disallow the kind of serial abuse we see in dilution-to-nothing junk companies like Amarantus and pump & dump schemes connected to them. But there is so much corruption in the system, it's hard to imagine the SEC will ever do the right thing.

It is all the more urgent that people do their own serious and unemotional DD. If they did, they'd stay the 'ell away from this.
