In a world on fire with a budding internal revolt of its own, Turkey passes the Valhalla of geothermal power generation and a country leading its own geothermal development in Africa.

Meanwhile America, the richest country on the planet, remains mostly idle while chasing the fickle and expensive wind and sun power.

Wasn't always like this. California by itself leads the world in geothermal power production from the rich legacy of B. C. McCabe. B.C. didn't invent electric power generation from Mother Earth's warm heart. Italians did that and then forgot like they had long forgotten the geothermally-heated Roman baths.

Lots of forgetting. Even America once had small wooden sheds in western deserts where prospectors could take geothermal baths but they didn't compare well with the Roman baths.
