Melania Trump on husband: 'He's not Hitler'

Melania Trump wants to be clear: Her husband, Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, is "not Hitler."
“We know the truth. He’s not Hitler. He wants to help America. He wants to unite people," the prospective first lady said in an interview with DuJour magazine published Tuesday, when asked about comedian Louis C.K.'s lengthy letter to fans in March in which he proclaimed that the Manhattan reality-star-turned-politician "is Hitler."
At the same time, Trump added that it is possible her husband "needs to say it in a softer way," noting that with respect to his call to ban Muslims from entering the United States, it's only "temporary."
"He doesn’t go after religions. He feels like we need to know who’s coming to this country. If not, we don’t have a country," she said, echoing her husband. "That’s how he feels. We see how he is, and he wants to unite the country and bring people together and bring jobs back.”
But when it comes to the anti-Semitic slurs tossed at journalist Julia Ioffe after Trump supporters took issue with her portrayal, she appeared to wash her hands of blame. (Ioffe joined POLITICO Magazine as a contributing writer earlier this month.)
“I don’t control my fans,” Trump said, “but I don’t agree with what they’re doing. I understand what you mean, but there are people out there who maybe went too far. She provoked them.”

Okay, I know comparing politicians to hitler is a cliche' but trump just makes it too easy. Here area few comparisons that come to mind (and the minds of Betty Bower's fans):
Hitler was a war hero early in his life, trump was a draft-dodging chickenshit.
Hitler had better hair.
Hitler only had one testicle, but at least he had one.
Melania Trump stated about her husband: 'He's not Hitler', shattering the dreams of millions of supporters. Actually, discerning snark merchants feel that he is much more aligned with Mussolini, with the end game being donald hanging upside down from trump tower.
And the melania pronouncement in the press made it clear to everyone that in comparisons considering marriage--- hitler was faithful to eva braun, but trump's history is not a secret, just ask ivana, marla, or any of the models supplied by agency that brought melania into the grip of the tiny little racoon hands. You, Mrs. Trump, are no Eva Braun, either.
Melania has a certain look about her, she usually looks like she is baked on some primo bud most of the time, either that, or she is squinting because she needs glasses and is too vain to get her eyes checked.
The fact that Melania had to come out with an article saying that her husband is not hitler should probably indicate she needs to re-assess some life choices. And we need to remember that hitler wasn't really Hitler until he came into power.
