You can easily read that and come to a different conclusion - that the LDL theory is not the reason those patients had heart attacks. I'd love to see the overall health, cognitive function tests, and quality of life evaluated for people with LDL < 60 - I bet it's horrible, body cannot function properly w/o it. Authors funded by Merck - what else would you expect them to conclude? BTW, article is ancient by research standards, 2009 - still clings to the "we need to raise HDL too" theory.
