Thanks JPRMarketing for your response.

So what Google is moving into will offer to businesses the same (or enhanced) solutions as the current "plug and play" enterprise search version but without the hardware plugged into each given company. Instead, companies will have the service they need coming through the cloud supplied by Google. That of course will be attractive.

What YIPI is offering is:
(1) a way for companies to continue the appliance based search solutions during the multi-year long transition while Google is phasing out its hardware version and implementing the cloud based solution

(2) a faster search solution

(3) a more secure search solution

(4) a more enhanced search solution: E.g., "Customers will be able to search their internal files easily from a dashboard and, importantly, users will only get results that they have corporate access to see. That means an admin can’t access files meant for the eyes of the chief financial officer, for example. "http://fortune.com/2016/05/27/google-search-appliance-gone/

(5) and last but not least, a version that is far better than Googles for much cheaper: "Yippy's Blue Flame appliance is not simply 'on par' with the Google Search Appliance, it is a dynamic reinvention of how enterprise search can be delivered with intelligence and analytics at a fraction of the cost."

Another thing: YIPI's new acquisition (MC+A) is already an award-winning business of its own. Does this mean that MC+A's clients/business will also be YIPI's?

“Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, benevolence, were all my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!"
