Samsung did not screw up. They have been a licensee for over 20 years. They understand the value of patents and standards. They have contributed and built the wireless sector along with the pioneers still in existence and those that have been bought out by the computer bullies who made no contributions to the creation of the wireless infrastructure and terminal connectivity they freely infringe upon today. That is a long sentence, but it sums up the plight of the small inventors. Not one thread of ethics has emerged from the computer industry. They made money on their patents and never will pay it forward to other patent holders that allow them to continue to force consumers to buy products that will be obsolete before they learn how to operate same. The connectivity of computers used to be and still is handled by the utility companies and the consumers at no cost to the bullies. The wireless sector made their game possible via the infrastructure provided via standards and the bullies refuse to pay. When I worked unloading boxcars, I had a boss that called me a "sorry sack of shit". He had a chipped tooth so each "s" produced a whistling noise. Thus, when I could not hear his voice, I knew he was calling me by hearing 3 whistling noises. My wife laughs when I am reading about the computer bullies and make three successive whistling noises.
